Preschool & Children's Ministry
At Sunrise Baptist Church we strive to be children of light. As John 12:36 says, "Believe in the Light, so that you may become children of the light." We welcome children of our community into a safe and secure Christ-centered environment of teaching and nurturing, thus providing a foundation for their future salvation and enabling spiritual growth within their families.
Children meet each Sunday for Sunday School followed by Children's Church which is a combination of high energy Bible Study and Worship, our Children on Mission Effort (C.O.M.E.), Puppet Ministry, Summer Book Club, and special guest speakers. On Wednesdays we offer Awana from mid August through mid May followed by a Wednesday Summer Bible program during June and July.
Annual events include our Easter Celebration, Vacation Bible School, Muffins with Mom, Doughnuts with Dad, Summer Camp, Fall Festival, and Journey to Jesus Christmas Celebration.
